PentaHibe® (containing Pentaisomaltose®) is a safe and effective alternative to dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) for cryopreservation of cells.
Cryoprotecting agents are used to protect biological tissue from freezing-related damage during cryopreservation. Today, DMSO is the standard cryoprotective agent in view of its proven efficacy.
